Newport Pagnell Coffee Morning
The Coffee Shop held its half yearly meeting on 24 July.
After the Treasurer’s report we agreed to donate £4500 to Willen.
We were able to welcome three new volunteers. However two of our long standing Friday volunteers, Mrs Jean Greene and Mrs Barbara Murray have decided that the time has come for them to retire. Between them they have worked in the Coffee Shop for 30 years. Mrs Greene for 16 1/2 years and Mrs Murray for 13 1/2 years. They will be very much missed. We also sent our best wishes to another volunteer, Mrs Sheila Grasby, who has just returned home after a spell in hospital.
We still need regular volunteers for Saturdays. If you think you could help us please contact Ursula Dancaster on 01908 618845 or call in and see us.
