We are back working for our local wildlife and
local people. Fancy joining in?
On the first Sunday of every month from now until March there are going to be lots of volunteering opportunities to help support and improve your local nature reserve. We start at 9am, meeting in the car park and will be doing all sorts of things, some activities taking us to areas of Summer Leys that people cannot usually go. Give us a ring so we know to expect you on 01604 4052885 and speak to reserve manager Jane Pearman. All levels of ability and ages are most welcome.

What has been happening on the
reserve now nesting is over?
A very important bit of kit has been installed, we have a new sluice which will make it so much easier to control the water levels, this is very important if we are to keep the correct environment for our exciting wading bird visitors.

Come for a walk around this wonderful reserve and watch out for all the migrating birds, you never know just what there may be about. If you see something exciting, let us know, we will let you know what has been seen next month. If you want to know some more about birds, in comfort, see the box below then come along and be inspired.
