Utange Orphanage by Debbie Scott
It is almost two years now since we began fund-raising to build a home for our first 10 AIDS orphans in Kenya. It is coming towards
the end of their winter now and apart from the usual coughs and colds the children are all well. I am so pleased to report that phase two of “Casuarina House” will be completed by the end of this year. Once complete we want to offer shelter to another 14 children. Last month saw some improvements with the decor in the home (pics attached) as we took a party of teenagers out to paint some murals on the walls. on a glass bottom boat to the coral reef. The orphanage staff were as excited as the children as it was their first time too!
