The Vibe
the_vibe@live.co.uk!
Hours of revision are dominating my days (and nights) at the moment, and retaining a social life has been rendered hopeless. I have managed to squeeze in the time to write
this article, as a break from revision! By the time this
month’s edition of The Phonebox is out, I plan to be relaxing in the sun with absolutely nothing to do, making some money, or, even better- out partying! I hope you get to do the same ☺

Fathers Day!
Marian Keyes
This Charming
Its Fathers Day this month folks, and for those who don’t fancy buying the same selection of novelty slippers, mugs, and socks, why not try taking Daddy out instead of a present?
The new Star Trek movie is out for sci-fi fathers, and if you don’t fancy that, why not try Angels
and Demons?
Alternatively, you could go out for dinner, or cook a meal. Perfect for some quality time!
Ok, so we’ve established that
I’m secretly a bookworm?
Well, as a fan of Marian Keyes I
was very happy to discover that my mum had just got the new novel “This Charming Man” . . . so I promptly nicked it!
Man
I was not disappointed. The diary style book, describing the lives of several girls, was hilarious - I did that really embarrassing thing where you laugh really loud to yourself several times – and I didn’t want to put it down!
In addition, heartbreaking moments made me wanted to read more in the hope of finding a heart- warming solution!
Typically, I had a law exam just 3 days after I started the book, so all my spare time was spent sleeping, or fantasizing about sleeping. I rarely found the time to sit down and read; however any opportunity was a welcome escape from exam stress.
Anyway- I eventually finished the 675 (and a half) pages, and immediately wanted to open another! Good book.
