Olney & Clifton Fishing Association
After a three month rest period fishing season on rivers restarts on Tuesday 16th June.
With the kind co-operation of local landowners the Club controls nearly three and a half miles of River Ouse fishing; catering for match, specimen and pleasure anglers.
We hold three matches especially for juniors (aged under 17) plus eight others for old cups and shields (which juniors can also fish). In addition we have open matches in aid of local charities; last season making donations to R.B.L. and Willen Hospice.
Cups are awarded for best specimen fish. Last season Buster Matthews caught nine chub (total weight 34lb 6oz) with best one weighing 6lb 1 oz, a new Club record!
Paul Hamilton won the annual cup (fished for since 1949) with a record match weight of 120lb 12oz!

Adult membership is only £18, state pensioners £9 and juniors only £4. Membership cards are available at the Cabin, rear Two Brewers, on Sunday 14th June, 11am until 12 noon or from usual outlets.
