Ecoclub at Ousedale Olney Campus
Ecoclub is an after-school club that meets on Thursdays for an hour. We are a small select group but have done some big things.
We have reused some wooden litter bins and turned them into beautiful planters with sweet peas, petunias, lobelia etc. The sweet peas needed support so we made some pyramid trellis for them to climb up in Technology Club. Ruby has also made a bat box, hedgehog box and bird box in Technology to put in our grounds to encourage wildlife.
We have been out on a bug hunt, collected autumn berries, grown wild flowers from seed, grown some broad beans and garlic and we are now planning which vegetables we want to grow next year in our plots. K
