Oh what a circus, oh what a SHOW!
This pantomime season, the CIRCUS is in town, as The Country Players proudly present their 30th Anniversary pantomime extravaganza, Goldilocks and the Three Bears! The panto is set in Sadie Spangle’s Circus, and is set to hit the stage at Wootton Village Hall, Beds, for an unprecedented six performance run from Tuesday 16th December 2008.
Fancy treading the boards? Whether you see yourself as Sadie’s beautiful daughter Goldilocks, or her hapless clown friend, Joey
Whizzbang – there is room on our stage for you! We’re also looking for circus performers that would be interested in taking part, so whether you’re a stilt walker, a juggler or a fire breather... well, maybe not a fire breather... then get in touch!
The read through will take place on Tuesday 9 September, and auditions on Thursday 11 September. You can find all of our information online at www.countryplayers.org. If you’re interested in coming along, please e-mail treasurer@countryplayers.org.uk and we’ll send all of the info through to you so that you can prepare to audition!
We’re also looking for anyone with an interest in theatre to come and help out backstage, or even make the tea and coffee in the interval. If you’re interested in any way in joining up with The Country Players, there’s no better time than for our 30th Anniversary Pantomime Spectacular! K
