Olney Camera Club
The club’s audio visual evening was well attended and some dozen DVDs were presented by members, with subjects ranging from a visit to Clovelly to a trip to a monastery in Sikim. As the evening was so successful, it is hoped to include it as part of the club’s programme.
The exhibition of photographs at the Three Hares Gallery during July proved to be a great success, with some 40 prints on show. The club have been invited to stage another exhibition of their work in 2009.
Arrangements for the annual photography weekend are under way. This year members will be visiting Wales.

Olney Archaeological Society
The Society begins its 2008/2009 season of meetings on Tuesday 9 September with a talk by Mr Roy Friendship-Taylor entitled ‘Piddington – The Story so Far’ – a report on the archaeological dig in progress there.
