Anne Gruber
(nee Middleton)
On 11 February 2008 Anne died peacefully after a short illness at Willen Hospice. A loving mother, sister, grandma, auntie and friend. A true ‘Olneyite’, Anne worked for local institutions, Lodge Plugs, Henk Schwimmers, Geth Davies and later in the Market Square chemist, before her retirement sailing the Mediterranean with husband Ted aboard ‘Honalee’.
Anne leaves behind a devoted husband and sons Stephen and Darren and daughter Terina.
She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered. K

Lavendon Pre-School
On Saturday 29 March Lavendon Pre-School is holding an open day for its new astro turf that has just been laid. It starts at 11am and there will be a balloon race, face-painting, raffle, refreshments and games etc. There will also be an opportunity for children to plant some bulbs.
