Stan Appeal
‘Cake Stall Appeal’
for Stan
Unfortunately Stan has been diagnosed with colitus (an inflamation of the large gut) for which there is no cure.
There is also a question as to
whether he has a small gut
problem as well. Blood tests
will be needed to find this
out. He has had a course of
antibiotics as he was so weak and would have been prone to more infection.
Stan has to have a special diet: Fish, chicken, rice or potato. Eventually he will be on a very expensive dry food imported from America, cutting out the other foods. This, added to the fact he has to have protexin – a prebiotic and probiotic granule added to his food every day has meant an increased cost of 300% per month.
Therefore we have decided to hold a cake stall on the market place on Saturday 13th October to help with Stan’s ongoing bills.
If anybody would be kind enough to donate a cake we would be extremely grateful.
Please deliver to the Phonebox Magazine, Orchard Press, Unit 2 Stanley Court, Olney on Friday 12th October or to 22 Spring Lane after 4pm that day.
