Yardley Hastings Primary School lights up the Village
On Monday 18th December, a spectacular, fifteen foot tall, success, the School raised substantial funds for its new extension,
which is currently under construction.
The event started with two public workshops on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November, in which participants created their own magical processional lantern. This was followed by the parade on Monday 18th, during which there was carol singing, mince pies, mulled wine and the chance to win a Christmas hamper. No better way to start the Festive Season! n

It was accompanied by an enormous, glowing snowman and many other beautiful, hand-made paper lanterns, created by the children of Yardley Hastings Primary School and their families and friends.
This is the second year that Yardley Hastings Primary School organised this impressive event and following last year’s outstanding
