Dear Sir
I would like to sincerely thank the extremely kind young man who pushed me home from Long Lane to Foxhill in the afternoon of Sunday 12th November. My electric scooter had failed completely and this Good Samaritan offered to rescue me.
Thank you too to the lad who asked if he could help on our way up Johnsons Field.
Apparently my hero lives in Court Corner. I do not even know his name but I will never forget him and I hope he reads this.

Whilst out on my dawn bike ride to Emberton Park one morning this week, I stopped to look over the metal bridge hoping to see the kingfisher which is often there. I saw instead what I believe was a pair of otters dipping and diving in the water – they disappeared as soon as they saw me. Has anyone else seen these beautiful shy animals on their walks by the river?

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the 11th November and sat down to enjoy a drink and cakes donated by Morrisons of Wellingborough. I raised just over £200 for children in need.
