Olney Camera Club
A sunny evening rewarded club members on the first outdoor photo shoot of the summer. A trip to Castle Ashby produced some good landscape photographs and shots of the Grendon lakes.
The May club night took on a different format to usual when teams of ladies and gents were challenged to take photos in and around Olney for 60 minutes before meeting at the Olney Centre to download their efforts onto computer. The teams then selected their 30 best pictures to be shown as a slide show and an overall best picture was chosen by the judge. d

Beaver Scouts Celebrate 20 years
The day was rounded off with a campfire and the blowing out of the candles on the birthday cake. Each Beaver then went home with a party bag full of goodies and feeling rather tired.
The Leaders and Parent Helpers gave up the TV and radio coverage of the England match in order to make this day happen.

On Saturday 10th June 2006, the Beaver Scouts of Milton Keynes Great Ouse District came together at their local campsite, the Quarries at Cosgrove, to celebrate 20 years of being full members of the Scout Association.
The day was as hot as it could be and the Beavers had a chance to try their hand at archery, shooting and a number of other various bases; such as BMX bikes, potted sports, junk modelling, china smashing and cooking. There was even time to spend their pocket money in the Tuck Shop and the Resource Centre.
