P. 5

Editorial
Tis the season to be Merry so let me be the first to wish everyone out there in Phonebox land a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. There is lots on for you lovely people and you can find out about it inside the magazine, we also have stories, letters and events galore for you to read over the festive season, not to mention the now famous Phonebox Christmas Competiton page where you can win big and help support local businesses at the same time. Result. And don’t forget to mention us when you’re doing your shopping. It’s the businesses that keep us going and help bring you this mag!
Now for the kids we have Santa visiting our office to pick up their Christmas letters, so take a look at page 89 for more details of when to get those letters in.
On the giving side we have the now famous Ian Roberts who has set up a charity called the IndieGo Collective, a non-profit organisation which is a charity that raises funds to pay for children to have music and arts lessons that they cannot get at school. To find out more go to http://theindiegocollective.org
At Christmas time we all expect a bite to eat, and here at the Magazine our Foodbank is going great guns. So keep up the good work and don’t forget we are here and open for donations. This year especially the request is for extra special things for the children; which includes advent calendars, Christmas selection packs, long life juice and biscuits (all children love biscuits, and possibly some for Rudolf).
And while we are on the topic of biscuits let me thank everyone who last year left a gift or two for the staff at Phonebox Magazine, a chocolate or biscuit is always appreciated!
Have a Cool Yule and a Happy New Year.
