Monday Lunch Club: Volunteers Needed
Do you have one Monday morning a month you could spare to help as a volunteer making lunch at the Monday Lunch Club? You could drop the children at school and be with us by 9am, and you would be nished by 2pm. We are a wonderful group of elderly people and for many of us, the lunch club is the only reason we get a hot meal or have any company during the day. In return, volunteers are offered the opportunity to: know how much you are helping us and how much we appreciate your kindness; enjoy the company of other volunteers; learn from a fantastic cooking teacher who is always happy to help you learn new cooking skills; and try out your own recipes if you’re already a con dent cook. If you are interested in volunteering, call Beryl on 07725 184002.
