Stuart Goldsmith: An Hour
Following the interview with Stuart in last month’s magazine, his award- winning stand-up show promises to be a hilarious night out, and he seems very excited about his show in Milton Keynes! On Sunday 3rd April, the comedian of 11 years’ experience will be at The Stables performing his 2015 Edinburgh Fringe solo stand-up show, An Hour, which was nominated for the brilliant Amused Moose comedy award.

80’s Mania Hits Grove Theatre
80’s Mania is the UK’s official 80’s multi- tribute reunion concert, and it’s coming to Dunstable’s Grove Theatre on the 23rd April. Enjoy classic, feel-good 80’s hits from A-Ha, Duran Duran, Wham, Cyndi Lauper, Spandau Ballet, Madness and many more. The artists are recreated to look and sound how they did back in the 80’s. With over 150 costumes used in this fast-paced show, it promises to be an extravagant performance!

The Bodyguard
Watch three-time Brit nominee and The X Factor winner, Alexandra Burke, in this exciting, award- winning musical based on the very popular film, The Bodyguard. In this captivating production, Frank Farmer is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron – Alexandra Burke – from a stalker. But as their relationship develops, they learn a lot about each other. The show also features Whitney Houston’s classic hits: One Moment in Time, I Have Nothing and I Will Always Love You.

Stowe Gardens is hosting a Wild Wednesday event on 6th April from 10:30am-midday. Use natural and recycled materials to create your own animal house to take home with you, ranging from mini beast hotels to ladybird cottages! Booking is essential for this free activity, aimed at children between 5-12 years of age. Visit nationaltrust.org. uk/stowe for more information.
Teens:
The Junior Film Festival is taking place on Saturday 30th April from 4-8pm at Willen Lake. There will be outdoor screening of music videos and animated films produced by junior filmmakers in Willen Lake Mini-Bowl. This is a free event with no booking required and refreshments available.
Terrors:
Bletchley Park is running a Nifty Numbers Trail from now until 10th April, from 9:30am to 4pm. You can pick up a free children’s trail complete with challenges and activities from Admissions at the Park. This is a great way to get children walking around the Park and exploring the area while keeping active!

On Sunday 3rd April, the fantastic ‘Flower Festival’ will be held at Willen Temple. Join the Nipponzan Myohoji Monks and Nuns for their annual celebration of flowers. This fun event, starting at 2pm, offers free entry to all (parking charges apply).
