September has become the month of food glorious food, especially with
BOFF, the Big Olney Food Festival, which takes place on Saturday the 7th of September in Olney Market Place.
Last year must have been
a record turnout and with what is on offer this year it is sure to bring in the crowds again. We have a few pages of food articles inside the magazine with some local food outlets advertising their wares as well. Not all of them are from Olney, and not all of them are taking part in BOFF, but they do provide extremely good food services and are all local, so you have a great choice of where to go to eat, drink, or buy your food.
Everyone should find it a tad easier getting into Olney
now the road surfacing
has been completed. A
full week of upheaval has had many of the shops
in the town contacting us with alternatives to the way things could have been managed. Shopping chaos has been caused by the road works. Well, now that the road works are over, I'm sure the new, smooth road surface will bring customers back to the town.
And, after all that food, one thing you might think of trying out is the Newport Pagnell Muster, there are
a few walks available of different lengths being
held on Saturday 14th of September which should help you get rid of those extra pounds you may have put on the week before! More info on page 78.
