National business club 4Networking have chosen Milton Keynes as the first UK town where members can network over lunch - as well as breakfast or dinner.
4Networking’s Regional Leader for Milton Keynes is Michelle Turner- Davidson and she explains “I run two successful businesses and understand how important it is to network - I joined 4Networking four years ago to do just that. But sometimes childcare and other commitments mean that I, and many other business people struggle to commit to a particular part of the day week in week out. As well as 4Networking’s successful breakfast network we launched evening networking in Milton Keynes a year ago and are now ready to bring lunches to the scene as well with 4N lunch launching at The Living Room on Friday 15th February. This means that every business person will be able to find a 4N event around Milton Keynes at a place and time to suit them”.
As well as busy breakfast, lunch and evening events in Milton Keynes itself there are 4Networking clubs in Olney, Buckingham and members have access to over 5000 networking events across the UK every year.
Network Director for 4Networking Stefan Thomas says “I’ve been involved with 4Networking since late 2007 and first opened a breakfast group in Milton Keynes in early 2008. Since then not only have we grown as a network but the needs of local business owners have changed. With many people ending up self employed as a result of redundancy a support network is vital. As well of that, and equally vital, our members pass tens of thousand pounds worth of business each year in Milton Keynes. My own business would not have survived had I not joined five years ago”.
4Networking runs over 5000 networking events across England, Scotland and Wales every year and is owned by controversial entrepreneur and author Brad Burton. From being described as “that thick northerner” when he launched 4Networking seven years ago, Brad is now invited to speak on Newsnight on BBC2, Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 and regularly comments in the national press on business issues.
