The Boundary Commission has decided that the total number of Councillors should be increased from 51 to 57. events were negatively impacted financially by the poor weather last year. So, I decided to make a grant of £500 from my small ward budget to both the Carnival Committee and to the Christmas Lights Committee. Letʼs hope for better weather this year.
A509 Resurfacing – new dates
Although the review of parliamentary boundaries has been put on hold, changes to Milton Keynes Council ward boundaries will be going ahead.

The proposals are a new Newport Pagnell North and Hanslope ward which will include all of Newport Pagnell north of a line drawn along Wolverton Road and the High Street, Stoke Goldington and Gayhurst, all of the current Hanslope park ward, including Redhouse Park.

Pagnell to the M1 has been delayed until 27th March to 5th April. It is now planned to carry out the work overnight.
There are no local elections in Milton Keynes this year and the new boundaries will be effective from the 2014 elections when an ʻall outʼ election will be held.
If you need to contact any of the Newport Pagnell Liberal Democrat Focus Team please email us on NewportFocus@mklibdems.co.uk.
The boundaries are being changed to take account of the growing population in Milton Keynes and to ensure equity in the number of people represented between the various wards.
