Re: Sallie Grummitt’s fundraising for Nepal
I am wondering if you can either put me in touch with or forward this to Sallie?
We have a range of interactive training DVDs on a range of subjects (HIV?Aids, TB, Clean water, trafficking etc.) translated into Nepali. These are really useful and can bring about genuine change in an easy to understand and interactive manner, and can be used with groups of any age. We would be happy to give a range of titles for Sallie to either use or pass on to the NGO she is working with, women's groups, schools VDCs etc.

My name is Roger Kirby; we met last summer in your office whilst I was on holiday in Olney with my wife.
I had read your story re Peter Kitchener and his looking into his family history. I found the story interesting as I was born at 14 Midland Road Olney, and spent all my early life in Olney.
At 26 I married a Sherington girl and three weeks later emigrated to Australia.(41 years ago). As I mentioned to you, I remembered seeing a photo taken at the rear of No 14, but did not know the persons in it.
At last I have found time to sort through some of my late mother’s old papers and pictures and have found this picture which may be of interest to Mr Kitchener. I believe there may be another but have as yet not found it.
My wife Susan (nee Keech) and I spent an enjoyable three months in England (June- August 2012) looking around our old haunts and meeting old friends, unfortunately the weather was shocking. Luckily we get plenty of sun here.
We live in North Queensland in the coastal town of Mackay right on the Barrier Reef. It’s a good life here, but we still sit and reminisce about our lives in England before emigrating. I hope the attached picture is clear enough! Cheers, Roger Kirby
