MUCHAMORE RECRUITS NEW READERS
WIN
Robert Muchamore attended two book signings on 9th of November, at Ousedale and Newport Pagnell schools. He personally signed over 700 books, which he gave away. He also gave a slightly controversial talk to his young readers which detailed his youthful years as a wannabe writer and accidental football hooligan, where he was witness to a stabbing which compelled him to go straight.
Pheobe our resident teen scene writer said that she was going to start the book soon and that the talk was very interesting, she also mentioned that herself and her classmates didn’t have to attend P.E due to Muchmore’s arrival which was a welcome bonus.
Sue Lewis (Librarian at Newport campus) was very excited to get Robert to visit as he only does a limited number of events and she had to pitch for it.
Waterstones are providing £2 off Robert Muchamore’s paperbacks in store to Ousedale students for the whole of November.

We were at Robert Muchamore’s recent booksigning at Ousedale Campus and after seeing the enthusiasm of the young readers who each received a free signed book, we thought it would be a good idea to have a competition to offer his book “The Recruit”, personally signed by him, to the first two correct entry out of the hat for the following question:
