opportunities to take time out and have a spiritual ‘breather’, running from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th April, starting at 8pm; we will be taking a journey ‘From beyond space and back’.
the truth about Easter
Easter is a very special time for Christians all over the world; it is the time when we remember the heart of the Bible’s message which is that “God loved the world so much that he sent his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it” (John 3.16)
The Easter message reminds us that God took action – Jesus, who is God’s Son - came down to earth, lived as one of us, and then died in our place on the cross, he dealt with the things we had done. But that is not all! On the third day after his crucifixion he came back to life, and he offers eternal life to everyone who believes in him.
