The Coast to Coast (C2C) cycle
ride with a difference
The Costa to Costa Challenge will start at 08:00 on Saturday 6th August 2011 in Whitehaven harbour followed by a quick espresso at Whitehaven Costa Coffee shop. JC and friends then have 8 hours and 50 minutes to cycle the 130 miles to Sunderland pier, following the classic Coast to Coast route before dashing back to Costa at Waterstones in Sunderland for last orders at 17:00.
All this to raise funds for Help for Heroes whose successful charity work has improved the lives of thousands of ex-servicemen and women, all of whom have put their lives on the line in the defence of our country. As a former serviceman, JC received assistance from the related charity, Combat Stress, after serving in the Middle East, Africa and with the UN in
Rwanda.
This is an
opportunity

back for the help received when it was needed most.
