Emberton School is expanding
It is a very exciting time at Emberton School right now. We are thrilled to announce that the school is to be extended, adding an extra room. The work will be completed in time for the beginning of the new school year in September. This will provide additional ‘break out’ space for group activities.
Not satisfied with just a bigger school we are also delighted to announce that Jill Norton, our new Head Teacher is joining us after the Easter holidays - just in time for the Royal Wedding celebrations that we are sharing with the village and toddler group.
Jill’s passion lies with working with the ‘first school’ age group as it lays the foundation for the future. The importance of a child’s introduction to schooling is paramount; this is where they learn
how to learn and how to love learning. The family- oriented environment and variety of experiences offered by Emberton School attracted Jill to the post. Jill is currently a Head teacher at a full primary village school and is thoroughly looking forward to becoming part of Emberton’s ongoing success and we can’t wait for her to start.
Busy Bee Cafe open for business 14th June – all invited
Last year the children ran the hugely successful ‘Busy Bee Cafe’ for the local toddler group, parents and families within the village. Due to popular demand we will be opening for business again and would like to extend this invitation to anybody considering Emberton School for their child, for this September or future years. This is a great opportunity to not only see the school, but to
meet the children, the teachers, current parents and future parents. So please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee and some gorgeous homemade
cakes.
