Sarah's Wish Comes True
NINE YEAR OLD Sarah Langley beat tough competition at an audition in Aylesbury to gain a place in the production of the ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ with the English Youth Ballet.
Local girl Sarah who attends Olney Middle School adores ballet and loves performing.
She studies ballet with Melanie Beeston in Sherington who has now amalgamated her school to become Chaplin Theatre Arts.
Melanie said, “I am delighted for Sarah because she is very committed to her dance.
“Opportunities like this offer children a superb experience to develop confidence, stage presence but most of all self discipline.
“Sarah will have the opportunity to work with professional dancers, choreographers and backstage staff.
“The staff have a wealth of experience to impact on the young participants.
This follows the ethos we try to create at Chaplin Theatre Arts. We want our pupils to be Creative, Happy, Artistic, Happy and Positive. And at the same time we want to Inspire and Nurture them.”
You can see the production at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on November 5th and 6th.
