Go Walkies
IT WAS A beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon on June 21st when a group of Friendly, Responsible Dog Owners came together with their four legged friends to enjoy a walk across the meadows raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind and promoting responsible dog ownership. With 15 dogs running around playing and falling over each other it was certainly a lively walk with plenty of barking, sniffing, swimming and tail wagging. Guest of Honour was Bronte, a beautiful Guide Dog breeding
bitch whom, despite being pregnant with eight puppies, was able to run joyfully with the pack and along with a few others, cool off with a dip in the river. Many thanks to Toby, Tino, Bobby, Herbie, Betty, Dave, Rosie, Toffee, Charlie, Eddie, Prudence, Roxy, Daisy and Scrumptious for giving us a very entertaining afternoon and raising £103.00 for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
