Editorial
Summer is definitely here and things are certainly hotting up in the area. August is a busy month and there are lots of events on offer for both adults and children. Anyone with the job of looking after them during the summer holidays is going to be kept busy. And remember it wasn’t that long ago when it was rather cold, so no complaining about the heat...
Tesno are certainly keeping the heat up on the proposed Tesco development in Newport Pagnell, there is news inside about Tesco’s revised development proposals, and it would seem the well-organised Tesno are certainly not letting go on this one. Local stores can be affected by large multi-nationals moving in, and many gains in employment could be offset by business closures and the loss of an identity to a town. One thing is for certain: It is not over yet.
And at the moment anyway neither is the Summer, so don’t forget to get out there in the sunshine (with your suncream of course) and enjoy yourselves.
You probably deserve it!
