Love is in the air in this issue of Phonebox as Valentine’s Day is upon us. No excuses chaps, as there are plenty of opportunities to book something special and buy that gift, plenty ideas inside the mag. You have been warned!
February 16th brings us Olney’s famous Pancake Race, this year on a holiday, so it’s sure to be busy, there’s plenty to do in the Market Place and lots of pancakes to choose from in the town . . . and Blue Peter will be there too, so get yourself down.
And while you’re there you can take a look at the newlook Le Petit Bijou, a new colour scheme to match the town - at 9 High Street, Olney.
All things take time, and one such event is the Newton Blossomville’s Reading Rooms, which is celebrating 100 years use by the community. A wonderful achievement.
Not to be outdone, Newport Pagnell will be celebrating the bi-centenary of their bridges on September 18th this year. We will have more info on the celebrations in forthcoming months.
Well there are lots of interesting articles inside and plenty of opportunity to book something special for Valentine’s - My final warning!!!
