Stan
I would like to thank everybody who donated food, toys, bedding etc to ‘Stan’s fund’ and the ‘Animals in Need’ charity. Once again a fantastic response, thank you.
I’m afraid February wasn’t a
good month for us. Stan had
to have an emergency
operation to remove his
spleen. He did start to make
a slow recovery but sadly
three weeks later became
very sick again. After talking to Gareth at Willow Vets it was decided it was best for Stan to be put to sleep. He will be missed very much; such a wonderful dog. Unfortunately we didn’t have Stan for as long as we would have wished but I would like to thank everybody who had helped to make Stan’s year with us more comfortable.
On a happier note, Angel, Tulip and Oscar who featured in January’s Phonebox Magazine have all found new homes. Murphy, the Lurcher pup who was being fostered by us, is now staying permanently as he has bonded so well. He has a skin condition which he is receiving treatment for.
I’m sure we will be fostering again and will continue to raise funds for ‘Stan’s fund’ and ‘Animals in Need’.
