Rachael and Liz Crouch held a race night and raised £860 for the British Heart Foundation at Olney Football Club. Players required for local Brass Band
Moulton 77 Brass Band, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, are searching for local brass players to join their ranks. The band has recently appointed a new Musical Director, Martyn France and enjoy enthusiastic and enjoyable rehearsals twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays 7.30pm–9.30pm at Moulton Park, Northampton.
The band would welcome any brass player to rehearsals, whether an old player returning to brass banding or younger members, wanting to gain the experience of playing with an adult band. The band is currently in the Midlands Third Section of the brass banding tables, and participates in several contests per year. Apart from contesting, the band performs at numerous events during the year, ranging from small church fetes and playing in the park, to Christmas carolling and entertainment concerts.
