Olney Camera Club
The September print competition took place recently at The Olney Centre with a big entry in all three categories. The task of selecting a winner in each category, as well as the print of the evening, fell to the judge Roger Hill from Stewkley, who received a big vote of thanks from all the members.
The winner in each category was as follows: Modern Architecture – Andy Gailer with ‘Ken’s Palace’; In the Air – Andy Gailer with a humorous entry called ‘Bye Bye’; Magic Moments – Haydn Langley with a delightful photograph entitled ‘Unbridled Pleasure’, which also won the Print of the Evening.

The end of the month saw the club’s photographic weekend, which this year was based in Cornwall. Nine members made the trip to Penzance and covered 18 different locations where some excellent pictures were taken including Looe, St Ives, Bedruthan Steps and the Lizard.
