Happy First Birthday Olney Health Check
A year ago this month members of the community got together to form the Olney Health Check with the aim of creating a long term vision and plan for Olney that was community lead with a real focus on local issues.
Over the last year the group has been consulting the town and surrounding areas, gathering and collating information from businesses, schools, Milton Keynes Council, agencies, public services and the general public. This information has raised many interesting challenges that the town faces both now and in the future, as well as highlighting the town’s unique selling points including its heritage and culture.
As a group we will be presenting our findings in the autumn, allowing enough time to properly consider the research findings and pull together a realistic action plan. I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to contribute to this research either by interview, through filling out questionnaires or completing surveys.
