North Crawley and Stoke Goldington Schools
North Crawley and Stoke Goldington Schools were lucky enough to receive a visit from the local oral health promotion team. An interesting and informative display was set up and parents gained information about dental hygiene. The excited children experienced dressing up as dentists and dental nurses, sitting in a dentist’s chair, and learning how to clean a giant set of dentures with the world’s biggest toothbrush! When out and about, look out for children with healthy teeth and gleaming smiles – they attend the local village schools. K
Olney ladies walking group
The Friday pacers have been busy walking most Fridays over the past couple of months in preparation of the London Moonwalk, Gill Hogston and Gwyn Kay completed in May in 6 hours 50 mins. Well done to Jane Sacre completing the walk as well. The Edinburgh Moonwalk is in June and four ladies are working hard to get in the extra miles, some Saturdays walking 20 miles.
