After watching Take That a few months ago with Lauren O’Brien in the Gold Circle, this time we were front tow at Paolo Nutini in London Forum. Paolo went through a selection of songs including Jenny Don’t Be Hasty, New Shoes, These Streets, Rewind and Last Request.
His fantastic voice combined with an energetic band made the gig a memorable occasion. With support from Universal’s ‘The Days’, Paolo played to a packed london crowd who were ecstatic with his performance! He was so good I have booked to see
him again in April! 10/10! myspace.com/paolonutini myspace.com/thedaysmusic-
The Pitch Final
As you may have read in the MK News, Citizen or Growing Business or heard on BBC 3 Counties or Horizon Radio. I have finally finished the Pitch/Mini Dragons Den program and gained myself several investment offers including BBC 2’s Peter Jones and The Chamber of Commerce Milton Keynes. Although I cannot say
much about the idea as it is currently under modification, its to do with exposing youth music. Over the next several months I will be kickstarting the business working with other firms and hopefully make it a great success. I will let you know more then. Coming Soon! In- Form Records! Aftershock 2006
A sell out crowd, 7 fantastic local bands, a great light show and all in aid of Save The Children. It only spells one word: AFTERSHOCK! Packed into Ousedale’s main school hall, over 150 concert goers enjoyed fantastic sets from Arise, Fourplay, All Fall Down, Little Red Pillows, Envision, Super Heroes in Training and Terrapin Trainstation. On hand to give out leaflets
about their latest campaign for local music were Parklife organisers Rusty Promotions. Highlights of the night included Little Red Pillows ‘Funky Monkey’, Fourplay’s ‘Homesick’ and Terrapin Trainstation’s ‘Don’t put your baby in a bush’. A big thanks goes to all the bands, Ousedale School, the teachers who helped, Rusty Promotions, MK Sno!Zone, Andy Matthews for the poster design, Emma & Tom and everyone who helped to raise money for Save The Children.
